Father's Day Memories

Dona and Helen with Dad

The goal of our blog is to celebrate people; who they are and what they love.

In honor of Father’s Day, we want to honor our dad, who is no longer with us. Even though he has been gone for quite some time, we cherish the memories and our love for our dad.

He was a son, brother, swimmer, WWII Veteran, accountant, and father. He was many things.

In honor of our dad, we tried to decide which¬†LIFELONG Fathers’ Day Tee we would give him or which one he would choose.

We each had different answers. I said Football. I remember going to an Eagles-Cowboys football game with my dad when I was little. Maybe that’s why I love football…especially my Eagles.

Dona said Music. She remembers the radio always being on in the kitchen. Now that I think about it, I do, too. There is a reason why we love the Gordon Lightfoot song, “If You Could Read My Mind”. While we rarely hear it on the radio; we never change the channel when we do.

It’s those moments we honor and cherish for a lifetime.

To those fathers who are with us today, and for those that are no longer with us, Happy Fathers’ Day.

Here’s to you and what you mean to us!
